Fix “no speakers or headphones are plugged in” issue in Windows 10/8/7

You need to turn off your 'audio jack detection'.

It will be different for individual devices but mine is Realtek and this is how it went.

1. Go into 'Control Panel'.

2. Click 'Realtek HD Audio Manager'

3. In the audio manager, top right of the window is a little icon that looks like an open folder.(Hover the pointer over it, it says, "Connector Settings'. Click that.

4. You should see check boxes, 1 labeled 'Disable front panel jack detection'. Check that box.

5. Your sound should now be working.
